Balsamic onions are really quick and easy to make. They are perfect on an antipasti platter or with roast meat.

  1. Step 1
    Peel the onions and cut into fine rings.
  2. Step 2
    Now pour the balsamic vinegar over the onions in a small pan.
  3. Step 3
    Bring the mixture to the boil and simmer over a low heat for 15 minutes while stirring. When the onions are soft, the dish is ready.
