Pasta angel craft instructions – noodle instead of ball
Who would have thought that pasta would look good on a Christmas tree? Pasta angels are really pretty craft ideas for Christmas. You can easily and inexpensively make them at home with your children or grandchildren during the Advent season. I'll show you how to do it today. All you need is some pasta and a little glue.

Incidentally, Mrs. Jäckel, a very dear customer, gave me the idea for the angels. She wrote:
“Hello Mr. Depenau, now I would like to send you a warm Advent greeting with my self-made pasta angels. All parts of the figures, except the head and the decoration in the hands, are made of pasta. I bought the skirts from you. They are Coralli pasta. This year I made and gave away or sold 100 of them. As you can see, your delicious products are not just good for the palate”

- Croissant noodles
- Ditalini pasta
Pasta angel – The crafting instructions
Step 1:
Paint the pasta and the wooden balls with gold paint. If you like, you can also work with glitter.
Step 2:
Now cut the gold thread into strips about 15 cm long and knot them into loops.
Step 3:
Pull the loops through the wooden ball so that the ball sits on the knot.
Step 4:
Attach a tortiglioni noodle to the ball with hot glue.
Step 5:
Attach the farfalle wings to the body of the pasta angel using hot glue. Croissant noodles can be used to glue on arms. A heart-shaped noodle on the angel’s belly is a fun detail. Arms up, arms down, backwards or forwards – there are so many different variations.
Step 6:
For the hair: Small Ditalini noodles make a cute curly hairstyle. With Farfalle, the angel gets a bow hairstyle, but you can also glue tinsel into funny hairstyles.
Step 7:
You can draw cute faces on the little angels with a thin Sharpie.
