Strawberry tiramisu – delicious no-bake dessert

Tiramisu is probably the most famous dessert in Italy. It is usually made by alternating layers of sponge fingers called savoiardi with mascarpone in a mold. Eggs in the cream make the dessert firm to cut and coffee and cocoa powder provide the flavor.

Tiramisu has been modified endlessly. However, the most popular variation is definitely the strawberry tiramisu. We have kept it classic in our recipe with mascarpone. Of course, you can also replace this full-fat cream cheese with cream or quark. If you don’t have any ladyfingers, cantuccini will also work. And if children are eating with you, simply leave out the limoncello…

I would like to share another insider tip with you: If you want it to look particularly pretty, layer the ingredients in decorative glasses rather than in a casserole dish.

An iced limoncello shot or a limoncello spritz is recommended as a drink.
