Speculoos tiramisu – Recipe
In winter, speculoos entice with their warm spices and full buttery flavor. When the speculoos is combined with the Italian dessert classic tiramisu, the result is an exceptionally delicious dessert! Serve the speculoos dessert as a creamy, tempting highlight at the end of your Christmas dinner! It’s really easy to prepare!

In winter, speculoos entice with their warm spices and full buttery flavor. When the speculoos is combined with the Italian dessert classic tiramisu, the result is an exceptionally delicious dessert!
Serve the speculoos dessert as a creamy, tempting highlight at the end of your Christmas dinner! It’s really easy to prepare!
- 2 Eggs
- 100 g Sugar
- 500 g Mascarpone
- 10 ml Vin Santo
- 400 g Speculoos
- 4 cold espressos
- 1 Pinch of salt
- Powdered sugar to garnish
Schritt für Schritt durch´s Rezept
- Step 1Separate the eggs.
- Step 2Mix the egg yolks with the sugar in a large bowl. When the sugar has completely dissolved, stir in the mascarpone and vin santo.
- Step 3Beat the egg whites with a pinch of salt until stiff and then carefully fold into the mascarpone-egg mixture.
- Step 4Place the mascarpone cream in the fridge for 30 minutes.
- Step 5Pour the espresso into a large plate and dip each speculaas biscuit into the espresso one by one and then place them next to each other in the baking dish.
- Step 6Cover the speculoos with the mascarpone cream. Repeat the layering process three times.
- Step 7Crumble three speculoos cookies and decorate the tiramisu with them.
- Step 8Leave the tiramisu to rest overnight in the fridge.
- Step 9Sprinkle with powdered sugar before serving.
