Spaghetti burrata recipe
Creamy burrata is the heart of this Italian pasta dish. In the recipe, it forms the counterpoint to the aromatic tomato sauce and the spicy Taggiasca olives.

Creamy burrata is the heart of this Italian pasta dish. In the recipe, it forms the counterpoint to the aromatic tomato sauce and the spicy Taggiasca olives.
Ingredients
- 4 Balls Burrata
- 500 g Spaghetti
- 1 Glass Taggiasca olives
- 250 g Cherry tomatoes
- 2 red onions
- 1 Covenant Basil
- 1 Garlic clove
- 6 EL Olive oil
- Salt
- Pepper
Schritt für Schritt durch´s Rezept
- Step 1Bring the pasta water to the boil and salt well. Cook the pasta in it until al dente.
- Step 2Peel and halve the onion and cut into thin half moons.
- Step 3Heat 3 tablespoons of olive oil in a pan and sauté the onion rings and peeled garlic clove.
- Step 4When the onions are translucent, add the cherry tomatoes to the pan and sauté. When the tomatoes are soft, it is time to add the drained olives. Add a ladleful of pasta water and reduce.
- Step 5When the pasta is almost al dente, add the noodles to the pan, mix well with the sauce and wait until the spaghetti is perfectly cooked. Remove from the heat. Now fold in the basil leaves.
- Step 6Divide the spaghetti between 4 plates and place a burrata ball on each plate. Drizzle with a little olive oil, season with ground black pepper and garnish with basil leaves.
