Its simple preparation, combined with a unique taste experience, makes this aperitif the perfect summer drink.

The origins of the Limoncello Spritz
Limoncello, the main ingredient in this cocktail, comes from the sunny south of Italy, particularly the region around the Gulf of Naples, Sorrento and the Amalfi Coast. This traditional Italian liqueur is made from lemon peel, alcohol, water and sugar. The art of making limoncello has been passed down through generations and is a pride of these regions.
Summer drink Limoncello Spritz
Limoncello Spritz is a variation on the ubiquitous Aperol Spritz, which attracts people to bars around the world with its bright orange color, tart-sweet character and the obligatory slice of orange. Because of its origin, the cocktail is sometimes also called Amalfi Spritz.
Bright yellow against an azure blue coast – these are the dreamlike colors of Amalfi. It’s very easy to bring a sip of it into your home with our recipe! Especially in summer, the refreshing, squeaky yellow limoncello brings sunny Italian pleasure to your glass!

How to serve the Limoncello Spritz
The beautiful yellow color comes into its own in bulbous wine glasses and they offer plenty of space for ice cubes and decorations such as lemon zest. Champagne flutes are particularly suitable if the spritz is to be served with an elegant aperitif.
In general, you should always keep your bottle of limoncello in the fridge. And how about freezing some lemon zest in your ice cubes? It looks particularly pretty!
