Schritt für Schritt durch´s Rezept
- Step 1In a bowl, mix the water with the white wine, salt and yeast.
- Step 2Place the flour in a large bowl and mix with the yeast mixture. Knead the resulting dough (by hand or in a food processor) until smooth. This may take 10 minutes.
- Step 3Dust the dough with a little flour and cover with a damp cloth. Let it rest until it doubles in volume. Depending on the yeast, this can take 1-2.5 hours.
- Step 4Now carefully knead the risen dough again with floured hands.
- Step 5Preheat the oven to 200°C with fan.
- Step 6With oiled hands, spread the dough out on a baking tray lined with baking paper. It should be approx. 2 cm high.
- Step 7Now decorate the dough with the prepared topping ingredients. Finally, sprinkle everything with 1 teaspoon of coarse sea salt and leave the dough to rise for another 20-30 minutes.
- Step 8Then bake the focaccia in the oven on the middle shelf.
- Step 9After about 15 minutes, pour the olive oil over the focaccia and bake for a further 10 minutes.
- Step 10If the bread is a little too pale after the baking time, use the top heat function to brown it a little more.
