Peel the sausage meat and place it in the middle of the long side of the puff pastry. Then fold one side of the pastry over the sausage meat and continue turning everything to form a roll.
Cut the roll into bite-sized pieces and place them on a baking tray with some space between them.
Prick each piece with a fork.
Whisk the egg well and brush each roll with it.
Bake the puff pastry rolls for 15 - 20 minutes at 180° C until golden brown.
